Product Application

1. Surface Preparation

Ensure that the surface is absolutely dry. The datasheet recommends allowing at least 30 days for application on newly plastered surfaces. Complete setting and hairline cracking, if any, should be allowed to finish. Remove ridges and ensure the surface is free from dust and foreign matter. On highly friable and chalky surfaces, use an appropriate primer as recommended.

2. Application

UNO Acrylic Surface Plaster is ready for use and should not be diluted. Apply using a painter's putty knife or mason's float trowel. Spread evenly, with an approximate thickness of about 1 mm per coat. On very smooth and even surfaces, a second coat may not be required.

3. Finishing

After the material has fully covered the substrate and dried, use No. 0 sandpaper or fine emery paper gently to level the surface and remove sanding marks. Ensure the surface is ready for painting.

4. Painting

The smooth surface finished with UNO Acrylic Surface Plaster does not require putty or primer before paint application, according to the datasheet. Paint can be applied directly after the surface is ready, following the paint manufacturer's specifications.
